about
"Infinite Bounce" is a single from La Palma's forthcoming 2nd LP. It is a song about searching for resilience and forward momentum in this time of global pandemic and movements for collective liberation.
The song was written in quarantine by passing sound files back and forth across 3000 miles between band members Tim Gibbon (in Philadelphia) and Chris Walker (in San Francisco).
lyrics
Silence on city streets
Wildness takes back
Everything
Here, here it comes
Bounce infinite
While we retreat
Birds, plants, and bugs
Claim what's theirs to keep
Here, here it comes
Bounce infinite
I can see
In front of me
Flower tree
In bloom
Here, here it comes
Bounce, bounce infinite
Here, here it comes
Coming down
Corona crown
When the world ain't safe outside
You can go within
When the world ain't safe within
You can hold my hand
You and I
Get right
You and I
Get right
